A very big thank you to all our loyal patrons who attended the above meeting despite bad weather conditions.

Despite horrific weather conditions the above meeting went very well. Local girl Rachel Casey proved very successful in commentating on 1 of our races and The Flat V National Hunt Jockey’s Race went down very well with our patrons. It was very nice to see 4 members of the County Roscommon Hunt show off the recent RDS winning horses also on the evening.

Do’nt forget racing this Monday at Roscommon. First Race: 5.25pm. As the Summer is drawing to a close and the children are going back to school, special family admission price on Monday next, €20.00 (2 adults, 2 children).

Local girl Rachel Casey, who recently came 2nd in a Race Commentator’s Competition in England will be in Roscommon on Monday, 15th August, to commentate on one of our races. Do’nt miss this historic event.

Special race on the evening Flat Jockeys v National Hunt Jockeys. Seldom has a race of this nature been run in Ireland.

Special race on the evening one and a half mile flat race where the national hunt jockeys take on the flat jockeys.
